September is here! The cooler mornings and evenings have arrived after a hot, humid summer. Which also brings us to, it’s officially Apple Season! One of my favorite items to make with fresh apples is homemade applesauce. This recipe is quick, the instant pot does all the work. A slow cooker works as well, see recipe notes. I suggest making this at the beginning of apple season then again later in the season. The apple varieties slightly change the taste. It’s a fun experiment to do with your family. Enjoy
Be sure to save the apple scraps to make apple cider vinegar! Here’s an easy recipe to use.
