“It’s not about the food, it’s about the experience.” ~Carmen

Time to get creative and have fun exploring in the kitchen!

Kids Cooking Class:

A Soup and Bread making class for kids ages 8-12 years old. Students will learn basic kitchen safety, knife skills, how to develop flavors, and how to build community around cooking. Vegetables are sourced locally from common root farm and Love and Grit farm. Ingredients used are vegan (dairy & meat free). **The bread is not gluten free.  After cooking together, the students will enjoy the soup together in community to talk about their experience and taste test the soup and bread. This is a learning experience and an opportunity to see and taste familiar or unfamiliar vegetables and flavors.
