You can butter your bread, or you can whip honey butter your bread. This quick, two ingredient recipe is fun to make. You can absolutely use just honey and butter, the addition of ceylon cinnamon is warming and adds a wonderful flavor. Whip this up, see what I did there? 😉 and serve it with your favorite bread or biscuits. It’s creamy, fluffy and slightly sweet.
Every recipe has a story, right? The recipe inspiration came from my 5 year old, who loves loves honey and butter sandwiches. I made whipped maple cinnamon butter and decided why not use honey. Which after making this, I see her obsession. Add this on top of my cinnamon swirl sandwich bread for a beautiful flavor combo.
This is another fun item to make with kiddos. Use a stand mixer if your little one is not of age to use a hand mixer. Have fun in the kitchen, make memories.
