In a Medium sized pot, add all ingredients except for the honey and lemon juice. Bring to a boil.
Simmer with the lid off for 40-45minutes. The liquid will reduce to about half.
Take a mason jar, add a funnel and use either a cheese cloth or fine mesh strainer. Strain the mixture, pressing on the elderberries to smash and reap all the juice.
Let cool completely. Then mix in the raw honey. and lemon juice
Store in the fridge. Best used within 3months when sealed tightly with a lid.
How to take:
Adults take 1tablespoon once per day. Children under 12 take 1 tsp per day**Do NOT give to babies under 1 due to containing honey.
When you feel a sickness coming on, increase dosage to same amounts 3-4 times a day (every 3-4 hours take a serving).
