Well it’s been awhile since I shared a recipe and what better recipe to come back with… Chai Honey Cake. This Cake is absolutely flavorful and delicious. I’m already planning on making this for all the fun fall gatherings next month. Enjoy!
Note- My personal favorite chai to use for this recipe came from my Mother In Laws recommendation. This tea is strong and tastes homemade.
Chai Honey Cake

This honey cake is full of flavor thanks to the beautiful chai flavors
Ingredients
- 3-4 Chai tea bags brewed in 1 cup water
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Coconut Sugar
- 3/4 cup Avocado Oil
- 3/4 Cup Honey
- 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour (sifted)
- 2 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
- Slivered Almonds (optional)
Directions
- Step 1 Pre heat oven to 350°. Oil loaf pan (1 large and 2 small or 2 large, round cake pans or bunt cake works too).
- Step 2 In a medium sized bowl whisk eggs with coconut sugar. Add avocado oil and whisk. Add honey and mix well. Add sifted flour and mix together. Sift cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder into the bowl. Mix together. Add cooled tea. Pour into oiled pans. Top with slivered almonds. Bake 30-40mins. Until a clean toothpick comes out from center. Cool, slice then Enjoy!
